Sketchabilities #96 DT Reveal

Hello everybody Happy Wednesday and I am so happy that I finished all my work at sketchabilities for July's Reveal and I'm glad I finished it with flying COLORS !!LOL I fly with it HEHEHE Okay Today's post is about colors ,what is a layout without any burst of colors?? Dark and Dead YUP That's right . With colors things come alive and bursting ..

For the layout I added lots of drips and colors like blue and orange (they both matched well) the butterfly shows the 2 tone colors of orange and blue .So the Layout is based on how I captured the photo on the mall mirror (I captured my photo according to the feel and emotion I had in mind when I started to click my camera )

For the sketch Karan added again a mix-media feel unto it whih is pretty cool and amusing (Down below is a tutorial and a Close ups)

First over your journaling page with Waterolor paper . To absorb our water based paints!!

After Covering Add Strips of paper your choice and make sure that it coordinates well . And then Add some washi tape that will work good on the page , pop the photo using pop dots (make sure to cut the image on half so that we can close and open the Journal page)

Washi tape Fun !! ADD the big leafy patterned tape on the corners of the photo as well as add your butterfly

Add some glittered text staple it and use a rub on stamp to finish your title or you could handwritten the title after all its a journal page

Then cover the photo with A tissue to keep paints away from it . Use a thin brush (Watercolour brush Recommended) and splats some black acrylic paint

After all The process we've been through lets ADD Shimmers on the page by using my new metallic paint from tempera . add randomly plus use finger to control your direction of the shimmers and there you go a wonderful Randomly scrapped Page

I saw a Cat On a Pot ~ S.I. CSI #79

Hello Crafty peeps and Timers ,Welcome here at Charlies time .. So today is a wonderful creative post on my spot at CSI case file no. 79. The layout is terrible awesome , and its my first time to used my washi tape collection and some international products I got also from winning at CSI..

Okay I cant resist to love and fave this layout So cool and so grunge love the stripes I added ... But sort of a new style for me ...Okay but I have to say I have no time on Filming a tutorial for this one istead a little photo tutorial will do but it is a little photos (since that Fun making a layout distracted me and make me forgot to capture step by step )hehehe

This week Challenge on CSI is super unusual themed and fun I love it so gorgeous and flying with burst of colors !!okay I use REMINISCE paper "Aura " and some paper flowers I made and my favorite mist Ranger perfect pearl mist ..

Okay don't wanna waste a lot of words here is the Layout and the images plus photo tutorial

I did a little journaling there .. Let me tell what it is..

I found a kitten under a pot in our house .She is cute has a bigger eyes ,but mom wont make that kitten as our pet :( good luck kitty & find your MOM

I added tons of layers using prima journaling cards!! and the Title is made using prima tiny alphabets From sunset collection

Here is the tutorial

Find the best photo and paper to fit on your layout and then make sure the colors matches well!!

Add tons Of layers on the paper (scrap papers works well ) after adding those grungy layers try to add gesso , mist ,watercolour on the page but make sure to gesso it first and then add mist then watercolours.. okay after doing that add some rub on stickers on the side to make more good layers (this layout is about layer and stuff)

And now Using prima frames that come up with journal tags use it as layer on the photo mat of your image .. First make a photo mat and then ink it ,add layers .. make sure layers will pop up!!
